What stays local
The extension stores interface preferences, recent state, your Flomo webhook, and optional AI settings in browser extension storage.
That local storage is used so you can reopen the extension with the same setup intact.
SnapFlomo / Privacy
SnapFlomo works in a local-first way. Data is only sent when you actively save, summarize, or sync content.

When you save to Flomo, the page title, URL, summary text, and your notes are sent to your own Flomo webhook.
When you explicitly request AI summarization, page text is sent to the AI provider you configured, such as Zhipu AI or DeepSeek.
SnapFlomo does not require an account and does not run a separate backend that continuously collects your browsing history.
It does not silently upload pages or notes unless you trigger a save or summary action.
